- ebay has these NOS Russian tubes at less than eight dollars for four. They purport to be similar to el84 / 6p14p but need a lower plate voltage (180v) and have a lower mu. My amps are run at low voltages with a Hall vvr. Would anyone care to comment whether they think they would run OK and sound decent in a lite IIb?
